UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), in association with CBBC, has just published the second edition of the China Business Guide, which offers comprehensive step-by-step guidance to market entry.
Aimed at companies experienced in overseas trade but new to the China market, the China Business Guide provides a route map of the market entry process with signposts to additional sources of help.
The 78-page guide provides an overview of how to carry out initial research, methods of market entry and managing risk plus tips on aspects of culture and language. It also provides some basic Mandarin phrases.

ALERT FOR UK COMPANIES – Unsolicited enquiries and scams from Chinese companies
British companies should be highly cautious if contacted by potentially fraudulent Chinese companies placing suspiciously large orders, or posing as domain name registration companies.
